The Month of August overload...

Well the month of August was a very busy month. The first weekend Brant's brother Spencer and his family came to visit and of course I forgot my camera but we had lots of fun we started by going bowling and dinner and then the next day we had a movie/game night and then we went to ross park in Pocatello. We were very tired and worn out but we had tons of fun. The next weekend of August we had our annual Sautter Family Vacation and we went to Bear Lake again. We went to the Minnatonka Caves which was really cool the kids really liked it and then we went to the little Bear Lake Hot springs to swim. We then went to Bear Lake to the same beach spot and Hillary and I built our first sandcastle together I think we did a really good job. When we got home from that Brant had to go to Utah for work and then got home the day before the boys 4th birthday. So we then celebrated the boys birthday and then are so into Star Wars lately that we just had to get a Star Wars cake they got lots of fun stuff. Three days after their birthday Brant had to go to Huntington Beach California for work and we were able to go with him 14 hrs in the car but we had a great time at the beach and swimming at our hotel the kids were a little cautious about the ocean but we were still able to have a good time making sandcastles and playing in the sun. We got back Saturday just in time for the first day of School. We have had a busy month but it was well worth it.

4th of july and summer fun

We had such a great time this 4th of July, well we always do but the kids got to ride on a float this year in the parade. Aunt Hillary needed some help with the float they did for there school and asked the kids if they would be spiders cause it was a super hero theme and Jordan was spiderman and Melissa was Maryjane so the three older kids got to dress up as spiders. It was way cold when we first got there and the kids were not very excited but when we saw them during the parade they looked like they were have a really good time. Then later we went to April and Todds like we do every year to have a BBQ and play some fun outside games. We had a blast.

I just wanted to do a little update we camping again with Brant's family this time and we went to Twin Bridges, It was alot of fun I think the kids got way dirtier this time then last time but they had a blast doing it. During the day the weather was beautiful it was hot but it was kind of over cast so we could stand the heat. At about eleven that night we got at wicked thunder storm and we were a little worried about the kids but they slept right through it and didn't even know it happened when we asked them the next morning about which was probably a good thing. We have enjoyed camping this year and hope to go some more if we can fit it in with all the other stuff that goes on in the summer time.

Summer Fun...

Lots and Lots of fun

It has been a crazy few months so I am trying to catch up. Laney had her preschool program in May and she did a great job on her part. She had it memorized on the first day she brought it home and just kept saying it over and over again. We also went swimming a few weeks ago with Brants family up to Green Canyon and all the kids had a blast swimming and jumping off the side. Maya wasn't able to go swimming so she sat with Grandma and Grandpa Sautter saying hi to the kids. Just last weekend we went up to Fall Creek camp ground with my family, we were a little worried that it would rain on us but when we got there the rain had already come so we hurried and put the tent up and then the sun came out and it ended up being a really nice weekend the day we left it was raining but we were coming home anyway so it wasn't too bad at all. On Friday the boys went for a bike ride and Brant decided to try it again after last year cutting his lip open and having to have stiches he had a great ride and did an awesome job. Laney had never seen my brother in his riding gear and so when he was ready he took his bike for a ride and was going crazy fast like he always does and laney said,"Wow his fast!" she was so impressed, and on the way home she said ," Grandpa is really super cool on a motorcycle" she has seen my dad on a motorcycle but not all decked out so she thought he was really super cool. We had a great weekend and can't wait to do it again. Jake and dad and todd also brought up the little motorcycle and four wheeler and three wheeler up to play on with the kids.
