Wacky Wednesday!!!

Well it was Laney's favorite day of the year on Wednesday. In preschool Mrs. Long does a wacky wednesday where all the kids get to just wear crazy stuff and do crazy things with their hair. Well Laney just loves being able to wear whatever she wants cause most of the time I pick out all of her clothes so for just one day she gets to wear pajamas or whatever and she get to have her hair curly which she loves. So here is my cute wacky wednesday girl. I think she looks fabulous. We also registered her for Kindergarten on Monday and they did some testing to see where she is at and she got a 16 out of 20 which I thought was really good for not expecting a little test. Course I think she is already way smart but I am her mother so I get to say that she is the smartest little five year old, Anyway it was exciting but kind of scary for her to go in that big school. If any of you know how my sweet girl can be you know that there was crying and she was very clingy hopfully we can get over that before she starts kindergarten. Earlier that day Laney and I got to go see Princess and the Frog for preschool it was really cute and it was a fun time with just me and Laney.

A quick update..

Well a little update on what has been going on, my kids are getting way too big. The other night Laney wanted curlers in her hair so I put them in and as soon as I was done Maya said that she wanted one in her hair so if you can't see it very good that is what is at the bottom of her hair. Maya still does not have very much hair so it was kind of hard to get it to stay in. I have also been getting Laney's old clothes out for Maya to wear some that I love so much that Laney wore when she was that age so here is my crazy baby getting so big in her big girl clothes. Then today I went and got some braces on my bottom teeth to straighten them out, and then the dr with round out my first four teeth on the top to give me a softer look. So I am really excited to get it all done but it is definetly different. I am going to the dr that my younger sister works for and he is a really nice guy so hopfully he said in a year I will have them off but we will see I have been wanting them fixed for so long so it will be super fun. We are also loving this spring like weather the kids keep saying every morning mom we can see our grass and then putting on their flip flops cause they think it is summer. They have been so excited. We are also super excited for Brant's sister in law Candace she has three boys and is due in July with a GIRL we are so excited for them and we can't wait to see the baby. Congratulations Aaron and Candace and boys!!

ITS A BOY FINALLY!!!!

Well we are so dang excited!!! Brant's sister Chalai is due to have her 6th baby in July she has 5 girls and she is finally getting a sweet baby boy!!! We are so shocked that she is finally getting a boy. Her girls are so sweet and we love them so much but I think it was time for a little boy to join the fun. I think Chalai will have a lot of helpers which might be nice it might not. But we are so excited and can't wait to see this sweet boy in July!! CONGRATULATIONS Hyrum, Chalai and girls!!! Here is a cute picture of Chalai's family it will be so cute to have a little boy in the middle of all those girls.

SO EXCITED!!!!

I am so excited I am finally getting Laney's room kind of where I want it to be. We still will be painting pink stripes half way up and then doing the waines coat wood stuff the rest of the way down. That will half to wait for a little bit but so far I have been able to get alot of the furniture and some of the decorations. I have been so slow at decorating our house cause I just don't know what to do and it can be very expensive, but luckily I have been able to get all of Laney's stuff for a pretty good deal that makes it even better. I am having fun thinking of ideas for all the kids rooms and for the rest of the house it has been really fun. So here is a little sneak peak of Laney's room so far.

Update...

Yesturday we decided to put Maya in a big girl bed, I have been putting it off for a while cause we always had to kick the baby that was in the crib out cause we were having another baby so we kind of just let her stay in the crib for awhile but yesturday Laney go a new comforter set and said that she thought Maya was big enough to have a big girl bed. Well I decided I would always feel like she was too little to be in a bed so I just needed to do it so I did and she did awesome she didn't even try to get out of her bed once. She did fall out of the bed at 4:30 this morning but then went back to sleep she is so cute and all of her brothers and sister think its so cool to have their baby sister in a bed like them. So all of my kids are growing up way too fast but we sure are having fun watching all of them grow up.

Well last weekend was Brant's Grandpa's funeral, and it was very busy. Brant's brother Spencer and his family and Brant's sister Chalai and her family all rented a big van and came for the funeral. They got here on Thurday afternoon and stayed until Saturday evening. It was really fun to have all the cousins together and to have all of Brant's brothers and sisters here for the funeral. The funeral on Saturday turned out really good. They had all the great grand children that were here sing "Families can be together forever." It was so sweet to see all those little kids sing such a neat song. Then Gail and her two sisters did the life sketch. They did a wonderful job at telling everyone some of the things Grandpa did in his life. I think if they said everything that Grandpa did it would have been a really long service. Grandpa did soo many things in his life. Then Blair and three other guys sang "Come thou Font." And they did an amazing job. The next speaker was Brant's cousin Kevin and he did so good. I don't think there was a dry eye in the room. Then all of the Grandchildren that were there sang, "Oh my Father." It was a really neat service and we enjoyed listening to all the neat stories about Grandpa.

Crazy weekend

Well alot has happened the last few days. Brant left out of town for a week last week and came home on Saturday. While he was waiting at the airport he got a phone call from his dad telling
him that his grandpa jensen had had a major stroke friday night at 9:30 he was sent to the hospital and we were told that he was in a semi coma and would not recover from it. So I waited until Brant got home at 6:00 and we dropped our kids off with aunt Hillary and went straight to the hospital. We then went on Sunday thinking that was the day he would go we stayed until 9:00 and he was still had his oxygen level in the 90s Monday we went to Jarons birthday at Leos place and had a great time. We then heard at the party that they took Grandpa off the oxygen and was going to send him home the next day. Yesturday he made it home around 12:00 and we got to the house at about 6:00 his oxygen level was in the 60s at around 9:00 the lady from hospice said we had hours before he would go. We decided at 10:30 that we needed to get our kids home, but that the family would call us when he went so that Brant could go over and see him. We were getting ready to go and Brant was doing pretty good and then I took Maya over to Grandpa and she said, "bye, bye Pa Pa" Brant lost it and so did everyone else in the room. I asked Brant if he was sure he wanted to go and he said yes. An hour after we got home he passed away. Brants Grandpa was a very neat man he did so many things in his life and was a great example to so many people. On the way home last night Brant was remembering things growing up and he said that his Grandpa was his first home teaching partner and he left a great impression on Brant. We love you Grandpa thank you for all the momories.

On New Year's Day we always go up to my mom and dad's and play in the snow and get all the snowmachines and fourwheelers and threewheelers out and hook the sleds up and give the kids rides in the snow. This year I wasn't able to go out and play I had a kidney infection so I stayed inside with Maya and took pictures and video taped everyone playing in the snow. They had a great time and only one time did the kids fall off of the sled and it was Hunter and Isaac going down the hill on a sled and they hit a weed and flew off of the sled. Isaac fell face first in the snow and Hunter just fell off. We can't wait until next year.

Well I decided to go to Jcpenny for Laney's pics again cause it was kind of last minute and I wanted to get them done. Ever since Laney was nine months old she has hated getting her pictures done she just gets very nervous and just starts crying. Well this year once again she started to cry but the lady did a awesome job calming her down and as you can see Laney ended up doing a great job. My sweet girl look so big and beautiful I lover her black eyes and dimples what a babe.

Strawberry Shortcake birthday

Laney had a great birthday. As you can see she was very spoiled !!! This year Laney decided to have a strawberry shortcake birthday so I was able to find some way cute decorations for it and then I just made the cake and tried to draw strawberries on it if you can't tell that is what those red things are in the corners. We took Laney to Red Robin for dinner cause that is where she wanted to go we told them it was her birthday so they brought her out a ice cream sundae and they started to sing, Laney got really embrassed and started to cry and cover her face we felt really bad but told her they were being nice so she stopped and enjoyed the rest of the evening. She had both grandparents and lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins to celebrate her special day.

Laney is 5 today!!!

Well as you can see I went a little crazy on the pictures of Laney today but it has been five years and a lot happens. I am a little upset that I don't have any baby pics of Laney cause she was a dang cute baby. Anyway alot of you know about the year that Laney was born but some of you don't so I thought I would tell the story of this sweet girl. Brant and I had just bought our first house when we found out we were pregnant, we had been married for only 4 months. We were really excited until I started vomiting about 14 times a day. I was diagnosised with hyperemisis which just means you vomit alot. I was told that it would probably go away after the first trimester. well it didn't I had a picline put into my arm and had to have iv treatments for the whole 9months up until I had her. While this was going my dad was going into kidney failure and Brant and I were living with them because I couldn't stay in our house because it had a smell that made my nausea worse. So we were living with them and my parents were going down to SLC in october for the transplant my mom would be donating her kidney to my dad. Well my dad had his kidney's taken out cause they were so large do to the cists on them. He was put on Dialysis until the transplant. Everyday my dad and I would lay on the couches and complain to one another how bad the other one felt that day. My parents are amazing people and to watch them go through what they did was amazing. I had the opportunity to go down and stay with them while they had the transplant along with my sister. I was blessed while I was down there that I had no problems. On December 28 2004 at 3:52 p.m. Laney Nikelle Sautter was born. I though for sure things would be a great after that. Well Laney decided to take a breath when she came out and had to be put in the NICU for 3 days. All the nurses kept telling me she was a premie baby but she was 5 days late and weighed 6 lbs 10oz so they kept her in one day longer. I was so emotional due to the fact I had just had a baby and that she was the first one. When we brought her home FINALLY she was the most precious baby. She never cried and she slept through the night at 4 months old. Laney is a wonderful big sister always wanting to help and do things for me. She is so dany smart probably too smart for her own good. I love you Laney!!

Christmas Eve

Well I am way excited for Christmas eve, Brant's brother Tevin thought it would be cool if some of the boys sang Silent Night for the Christmas Eve party at Grandma Sautter's in all the different languages that they know. Blair in Japanese. Tevin in German, Brant in Tagalog, and Aaron in Spanish. They will each take a turn by themselves and then the last verse they will sing together in all the languages. So last night we went over to Brant's mom and dad's for them to practice and they sounded awesome. It was really neat to listen to all the different languages singing that song. So I took my camera and took some pics while they were practicing. Tevin goes first then blair then brant and then aaron. Anyway we are very excitied for Christmas and my kids are so off the wall crazy about Santa coming in three days. It will be really fun this year all of our kids are at that age that it will be really fun to watch them open presents.
